Here you can download the latest versions of TelCanto for SlimServer.

Download TelCanto for SlimServer (Version 1.6.0, 1.2 Mb)
Use this version if you're running SqueezeCenter 7.0 or above.  See the 1.6.0 ReadMe file.

Download TelCanto for SlimServer (Version 1.5.3, 1.4 Mb)
Use this version if you're running SlimServer 6.5.x.  See the 1.5.3 ReadMe file.

After downloading the file, double-click it and follow the instructions. 

Please note that if you're using TelCanto for SlimServer 1.5.3 then after installation you will need to unzip the xmlTelCanto.zip file to your SlimServer server directory as described in the ReadMe file.  The latest version of xmlTelCanto for your current version of SlimServer may be obtained from the links below.

The xmlTelCanto files are not required for TelCanto for SlimServer 1.6.0.

After downloading the file, double-click it, select the type of installation required and follow the instructions.

The Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 is required for TelCanto Server and TelCanto Media Server.  You can check whether this is already installed using Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs.  If this is not already installed on your PC, you can download it from here:

After downloading the file, double-click it and follow the instructions.

The Microsoft .NET Compact Framework is required for the TelCanto Pocket PC Client,TelCanto for SlimServer and TelCanto for SoundBridge.  We recommend that you install the latest version, 1.0 SP3, as this fixes some problems with recent PDA models.  You can check whether this is already installed using Settings>System>Remove Programs.  If this is not already installed, you can download it from here:

After downloading the file, ensure that your Pocket PC is cradled and connected to the PC via ActiveSync, then double-click the file and follow the instructions.

Windows 2000 and XP come with a new installer which significantly simplifies program installation and this is used for the TelCanto  installation.  If you are installing TelCanto on Windows 98, you may not have the Windows Installer on your system.  If this is the case, an error message will be displayed when you attempt to run the installation.  If this occurs, you can download the Windows Installer from here:

After downloading the file, double-click it and follow the instructions.  Then start the TelCanto installation again.
